The Headache

Today was the seventh day of my senior year, but today I really became a senior. All through the summer and the last days of my junior year I couldn't believe I was about to be a Senior in high school. It finally hit me when the school counselor came to into our class and pretty much bombarded my English class with college information. I was not prepared for that info session as much as I thought I was, ignoring the fact that I didn't know what day of the week it was... This is one of those "fight or flight" moments in life. We all are applying to colleges and the competition is hectic. To me, we all are in the modern wild life and we're all fighting to go to the best schools so the economy's present issues doesn't affect us. Money is always the problem when it costs you. Just call it "survival of the fittest". Any ever other cliche you can include I'm sure it'll fit this situation. Deadlines, scholarships, work, even school supplies is stressing me out. I just want to know WHAT CAN I SAY THAT'LL PROVE TO  THE ADMISSIONS OFFICES THAT I'M A UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL IN MY COLLEGE ESSAY. If only I could tell colleges I guarantee you that everyone in this world is not completely like anyone else on this earth but I can't.  My head is everywhere from a headache to questions on last night's Microbiology homework to daydreaming about Prom. WOAH. Where's the pause button in life?
