I really do wish I lived in another decade. Growing up in 2012 is like growing up in a trash can. We're just thrown into a mixture of corrupted ideas of adults. Sex. Scandal. Drugs. Money. Murder. Betrayal. Reality shows. Twitter beef. Social networking standards. Low self esteem. Social validation. Fashion must haves. Economic problems. College tuition inflation. The list doesn't have an end. Back in the "radio days " ,when the only technology for communication was the radio and the phone, kids still had their innocence. Their imaginations ran wild. Playing games outside from sunrise to sunset. Its hard to be a kid when everything you shouldn't have to worry about is in your face. Technology, the internet specifically, has exposed us to the things in life we should find out about as adults. Shows like 16 and pregnant didn't come out of no where. the world should think about what the young generations are surrounded by and try to help recreate the way they grew up. We as kids cannot control the society we're already born into.
